Using Digital Media In the Classroom
Training Opportunities!
Join us for exciting one day trainings on using current digital media tools in your classroom. You will leave with ideas to implement immediately!
The following trainings will be held at the Wyndham Milwaukee Airport and Convention Center
4747 South Howell Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53207 from 8:30am-3:00pm. The cost of each training is $100 for the day.
The registration fee for both Feb. and May sessions for $175 (registration fee is in addition to the graduate credit fee)!

Registration Form - Your cancelled check will serve as your registration confirmation. We are not accepting purchase orders for the workshops. There is $50.00 cancellation fee prior to May 1st , after that date no refund will be given.
The workshops are acceptable for use in the Professional Development Plan .
One credit can be earned for attending at least 2 of the sessions.

Advanced Podcasting Mac
In this workshop we will take podcasting one step further. We will learn how to create a vodcast, an enhanced podcast, how to upload podcasts and make them an RSS feed. Required: An iBook, PowerBook or MacBook with iLife '08 (GarageBandv4) or iLife '06 (GarageBand v3).
Advanced Podcasting Windows
In this workshop we will take podcasting one step further. We will learn how to create a vodcast, an enhanced podcast, how to upload podcasts and make them an RSS feed. Participants will also learn how to create podcasts using Skype as well as how to broadcast other types of content. Required: Laptop with Audacity software installed (can be downloaded for free!).
Download Audacity at http://audacity.sourceforge.net an open source recording application. You will also need to download a Lame MP3 encoder found at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows .
Free Digital Media Tools for Classroom Use
We will spend the day working with tools available on the web. We will specifically look at all of the Google tools as well as Microsoft Photostory 3.
**Required: Laptop with wireless capabilities
