The Stephens Group was founded in Cedarburg, Wisconsin by Tammy Stephens in 2000.

The mission of The Stephens Group is to to help shool districts make the most of their technology investment, by applying current educational research and best practices for the use of technology.

The Stephens Group provides exemplary professional development, information technology planning, research and evaluation services for K12 schools.

All consultants of The Stephens Group have educational experience and a minimum of a master's degree and are at the very top of their field in educational technology. One of the things that makes our company unique is that our consultants are emmersed in the field of education as real world practitioners as well as are informed by current educational research and best practices.

Dave Fontaine works as an Internet Librarian & Information Specialist for the Middletown School Department. Additionally, Dave works as an online instructor for the University of Rhode Island’s School of Education. Dave team teaches the PODetc Course Introduction to Instructional Technology with Dr. Lovejoy and Tammy Stephens.

Susan is a 6th Grade Teacher at Steffen Middle School and school webmaster in the Mequon Thiensville School District.  Susan also has experience as a district reading specialist.

Connie is the Department Chair of the Computer and Math Department at Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin. She is also an adjunct faculty member in the Computer Education Department at Cardinal Stritch University. Connie teaches face-to-face professional development courses for The Stephens Group and is an instructor for The Milwaukee Digital Media Conference.

Chad is a Middle School Computer Teacher and a Technology Support Teacher for district staff of the Franklin School District.  Chad teaches face-to-face professional development courses for The Stephens Group and is an instructor for The Milwaukee Digital Media Conference.

Jeff is a professor of education at Azusa Pacific University. He has eleven years of experience with K-6 elementary education and is an expert in the areas of technology in education, gifted education, professional development and international and comparitive education.

Tammy Lind

Tammy Lind

Director of Face-to-Face Professional Development for The Stephens Group

Tammy Lind is a Technology Integration Teacher for the School District of South Milwaukee. She also teaches as an Adjunct Professor for both Cardinal Stritch University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to becoming a technology integration teacher Tammy has worked as a Special Education Teacher and a Math Specialist in the South Milwaukee School District.

Chris is a retired Library Media Specialist and Gifted and Talented Coordinator for the West Allis West Milwaukee School District.  She is an adjunct instructor in library science for Cardinal Stritch University. Chris teaches face-to-face professional development sessions and is a facilitator for Information Technology Plans for The Stephens Group.

 

Dr. Victoria Lovejoy

Director of PODetc

Dr. Lovejoy is a High School Science Teacher and Department Chair at Rolling Hills Preparatory High School in San Pedro, California. She has been an administrator and educator for more than twenty years.  She has worked at both public and private schools at grade levels ranging from Kindergarten through Junior College. She received her doctorate in Educational Technology and Leadership from Pepperdine University.

Bob is a retired Technology Coordinator of the Mequon-Thiensville School District. He is an adjunct faculty member in the Computer Education Department at Cardinal Stritch University.  Bob also facilitated the Wisconsin Department of Public Education State Technology Plan. He consults with The Stephens Group on Information Technology Plans.

Gail is a Technology Coordinator and Middle School Language Arts Teacher at Emanuel Lutheran school of New London, Wisconsin. She is an adjunct instructor of instructional Technology at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, and Concordia University in Mequon. Gail is also a technology trainer at large for WELS schools. Gail teaches face-to-face professional development courses for The Stephens Group and is an instructor for The Milwaukee Digital Media Conference.

Theresa is an Academic Librarian at Pima Community College in Tucson Arizona.  Theresa is working on her doctorate degree in Educational Technology and Leadership at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Her research interests include social networking, technology education, Web 2.0, First Amendment rights and academic library websites.

Tammy founded The Stephens Group in 2000. Prior to launching The Stephens Group, Tammy was an elementary teacher in Cedarburg, Wisconsin and Australia. Curretly, she is working on her doctorate in Educational Technology & Leadership at Pepperdine University. Her dissertation is on the Evolution of Transformational Communication Patterns in One-to-One Computing Environments. She is also the Web 2.0 Strategist for the Consortium of School Networking (CoSN).
